Day Six: Crafting Your Story

Part One: Crafting your Story

Your story is going to be something you will share constantly, hopefully several times a day through personal message, and occasionally on Social Media. You'll see how your story ties into your why which ties into your vision.

When you listen to the National Wake Up call every Monday at 11 am EST, you will see that every Coach starts by sharing their story. Be overwhelmingly authentic, real + RAW. Be YOURSELF. If you are vague and share that you lost weight and that's IT, that will not evoke emotion, it will not build CONNECTION. People want to RELATE to you. Be painstakingly YOURSELF and have the courage to share that story.

Here is the way you craft your story:

Part Two: Your Struggle is a PART of your Story

When you think about your story, you must have done Beachbody because you wanted SOMETHING to change. Maybe something you struggled with got you to where you were at a point you NEEDED Beachbody, fitness, the community, the nutrition, the opportunity, whatever it is, OWN your story and your struggle. That is the key to what we do, we all struggle, PERSONAL = UNIVERSAL. The more you are personal and share your own struggles, the more people will see YOU are real, and if YOU are real and able to do this, so can THEY. You offer hope to those by being as REAL as you can.

When you share that struggle with someone, it oftentimes allows YOU some redemption by showing you that you never would have discovered THIS without going through that struggle, and now you can help others going through that VERY same struggle you were.

Here is a tip and post from Lindsay Matway:

"I whole-heartedly believe that God can turn every test into a TESTIMONY, every mess into a MESSAGE, every trial into a TRIUMPH, and ever victim into a VICTOR!

Your story has a PURPOSE and oftentimes when shared with others, it not only heals YOUR LIFE by setting you free from the burden that comes with trying to keep it all together and play perfect... but it in turn helps set others free when they realize they are NOT ALONE in having a similar experience or by waking someone up who is seemingly headed down the same path, so that your past does not become their future.

Don't let the fear of judgement deny you of the GIFT that is using your story to help others grow &/or heal! #GiveyourpastPURPOSE!"

1.

Craft your story. It doesn't have to be too long, and as you progress as a Coach you will see that you add layers to it and start developing other stories from other times in your life that may also play significance to where you are now.

2.

Send your story to your Sponsor Coach.
