Social Media 101

Part One: Understand the IMPORTANCE of Social Media

Social Media is by far my favourite part of this business.

With the touch of your fingertips you now can reach millions of people. No more at home parties, having to do solely one on ones + spending an hour with ONE person, you can spend an hour and talk to thousands. Talk about efficiency, right? 

You must post 3-5X per day. Get what you're doing and who you are OUT there.

Word Swag

Colour Effects

GO LIVE on Facebook -- This feature is getting the most REACH on Social Media right now (meaning Facebook shows it in MORE newsfeed than just regular posts = more exposure for YOU).

Part Two: Be YOURSELF

When you are sharing authentically, where you are right now, your thoughts and opinions, RIGHT NOW, where you're at, progress, etc., in three months when you've developed, feel more confident, are more successful... Guess what? Your posts will also have evolved because YOU have. Thus, people see the NATURAL change without you having to EXPLAIN it. It's showcased right on Social Media. This is SO important in your business, and remember, Social Media is LEARNABLE.

How amazing is that?

When I started, I had BIG dreams. When I found out everything int his business was a matter of learning and NOT special genetics, I vowed to just learn what I didn't know, get comfortable with the uncomfortable, until it WAS comfortable. It was crazy to me how simplistic it all was. I just had to get out of my own way.

Will it be uncomfortable? Probably.

You want to know WHAT stops most people from Social Media and ultimately doing this business?

What their FRIENDS think. Insane, right? Allowing what goes through someone's mind for a minute, has STOPPED people from living out every dream they have.

Which is a huge reason PD is SO incredibly important. You have to know YOU are starting something different, and with that sometimes causes friction. You are on a mission. A Vision that needs to become reality, and a FUTURE that is waiting. They WILL jump on board, you just have to have confidence and ultimately surround yourself with the doers, the believers and the ones who will uplift YOU.

This call is FANTASTIC. Yes it's long, but this is your business. EDUCATE yourself.

Be yourself. But WHO are you? Create a list of 10 things that are important to you, that you enjoy doing, and that you are naturally good at. This will be a great GO TO list of who you are, and the brand you're building.
