Day Three: Create a Vision

This just keeps getting better + better.

Yes, we are RE-INFORCING your WHY today by creating a vision.

Have you heard the ICONIC "I have a dream" speech that Martin Luther King delivered in 1963?

It will go down in HISTORY because of the impact it made.

WHY?

His VISION was so STRONG.

He didn't just ASK the people to help him in his mission and delegate duties.

"We need to create equality. As a nation we need to see humans as equals instead of the color of our skin"

OR

"I say to you today, my friends [applause], so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow (Uh-huh), I still have a dream. (Yes) It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. (Yes)
I have a dream (Mhm) that one day (Yes) this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed (Hah): “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” (Yeah, Uh-huh, Hear hear) [applause]
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia (Yes, Talk), the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream (Yes) [applause] that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice (Yeah), sweltering with the heat of oppression (Mhm), will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream (Yeah) [applause] that my four little children (Well) will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. (My Lord) I have a dream today. [enthusiastic applause]
I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists (Yes, Yeah), with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of “interposition” and “nullification” (Yes), one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today."
You can watch the full speech on Youtube -- but I'm sure you understand the VAST difference between the two. He had a VISION that he asked the people to SHARE with him. He encouraged them to STEP UP and take PART in his vision, to change the WORLD as a NATION, instead of just TELLING THEM what they SHOULD be doing and directing them in doing so.
He inspired them to change.

The SAME goes for YOU and YOUR mission. This WILL develop over time. You will add onto YOUR dream as time goes on and you develop different passions within this business and your PURPOSE.

1.
What is YOUR dream? Your MISSION? If money did NOT exist, what would YOUR mission and contribution be to the world?
THIS is a TOUGH question and could take you a long time to figure out, but START. Get out a notebook, one that you can reflect on DAILY if necessary, to remind you of this beautiful mission that YOU have, the change in this world YOU will create because of YOUR existence, and allow that to inspire you, and therefore, inspire OTHERS.
Think of things you've gone through in your past, how Beachbody or fitness and health CHANGED that for you. Think of how your life changed, and how you want to help others see that change. Whether it's hope for the future, a love for LIFE, etc.
Here is upLIFT's VISION, one that is SO close to my heart. I had a vision when I started. A vision of a BRIGHTER world, a world filled with people who are confident, kind, independent, and compassionate. I had a vision of a team that supported that mission, a team that is more than a team but a FAMILY. A team of people who are relentless about OWNING their life and their dreams, who don't SETTLE for a life they're not happy with, but PASSIONATE about building a life they DESERVE ---- and get there by making the world BETTER + uplifting those who NEED IT.
