Recognition: The Fourth Vital Behaviour
Recognition is SO important as a Coach. It doesn't have to be for your TEAM {which you probably don't have yet}, but also your Challengers! How do YOU feel when you're recognized? Probably pretty darn GOOD, right? You're not only helping someone ELSE feel good, uplifting THEM, but you're also giving a window into what your Challenge Group provides, as well as creating a positive + uplifting culture within your TEAM + Challenge Groups. Do this publicly (ask permission) or within your challenge group or team page!
I PERSONALLY don't like to refer to these as the four vital behaviours. That sounds STALE doesn't it? Not something you want to JUMP out of bed for in the morning.
I refer to these behaviours as my INTENTIONALLY being a GOOD human being behaviours.
Think about it.
1) Proof the product works -->> We are striving to live OUR best life. Coach or NOT, we can ALL agree that ANY amazing life -- they take care of themselves. Endorphins, strength, discipline, character, confidence, it ALL comes from Fitness, health + WELLNESS. When WE feel good, we're able to navigate LIFE better, overcome obstacles, and tackle what life will hand us with EASE, and be able to overflow into the lives of others because we feel good about OURSELVES.
2) INVITE INVITE INVITE -->> I use this time to make others feel good and deposit into THEIR life. THIS is where I get to upLIFT people. My life has changed completely because I found my FIRST challenge pack, and I want to share that with others by encouraging THEM, believing in them, and being in their corner. This is my time to be intentionally KIND. Shouldn't we do this ANYWAY? But our lives get so crazy busy we MEAN to, but we don't get around to it. This business forces you to go and change the day or LIFE of several people daily.
3) Personal Development. The BEST behaviour if you ask me. Will your life change in a day? In ONE book? In one month? No. I'll be honest. The only thing that differentiates YOU from the most successful person in the world, is what is between your ears. What is in your MIND. You can choose to better yourself, EVERYDAY, learn something NEW, everyday, be inspired, positive... Or you can choose NOT to. In a year, after reading 10 minutes at least daily, imagine how that will compound? How much more knowledgeable you'll be? How much better your relationships will be because YOU invested in YOURSELF? THIS is where the BIG CHANGES happen.
4) Recognition (already went through above). Your chance to make others feel GOOD and confident!

These four vitals are FANTASTIC, but they're not effective if not done CONSISTENTLY.
I love this business, I love the fact that it replicates and takes a lot of what you learn by taking part in a fitness journey, and forces you to implement them in business, too. The great thing is, you've already started your fitness journey, which means you KNOW you HAVE the discipline.
Think about this --- if you worked out 5 hours on Wednesday and not again for the entire week, would you get results? Or if you ate 4 salads in one day, and then one more salad another day, and maybe one workout, would you get results?
NO.
The KEY to fitness is CONSISTENCY. It doesn't have to be hours long, they're 30 minutes, but it MUST BE CONSISTENT.
SAME thing goes in your business. If you WANT to build a successful business, it WILL take sacrifice. It WILL take doing your four vitals, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. To fulfill your MISSION, your VISION, and ultimately make your big WHY a REALITY.
Do you really DESERVE the type of success you want if you're NOT? Its not something you're entitled to, you have to WORK FOR IT.

This doesn't have to take you a long time {and we'll go into this TOMORROW}, but the KEY here is to do it CONSISTENTLY. These vital behaviours are so EASY to do, but because of their simplicity, they're just as easy to NOT DO and put off until "tomorrow".
Start your business with GOOD HABITS, with GROWTH PRODUCING habits and do these DAILY.
Determine WHEN you will do these four vital behaviours. When is your business OPEN? What are your HOURS? Get a planner and ensure these are the hours you WORK your business. The beauty of this is that you CAN change them as you need as you are your OWN BOSS, but what can people expect from you? When will you be checking in?
